Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Peshawar is one of the 08 educational organizations running under KPK. This organization came into existence in 1969 by the action of the Government of KPK. At the beginning point, it was the only Board of Education which was responsible to conduct the annual examination of whole the province KPK. But, timely, other organizations established by The Government to make the education system easy and standardized.

Currently, BISE Peshawar conducts the annual examination of specific areas. These areas include on Charsadda District, Chitral District, and Peshawar District. Students from all these districts come to appear for annual examination under BISE Peshawar.
